Moebius Green Monster Trail 50k: our kind of race
From snail mail signups to fast finishes, the Moebius Green Monster Trail 50k provides ultrarunners with a terrific old school experience. The low key atmosphere takes away the stress of high entry fees, travel and constant reminders of pace and split times. You just race with friends. And that's what our runners did.
Jen Duncan, coming off a win at the PorchRokr 5k just one week beforehand, took an hour off her 50k PR and placed 3rd for the women. Ann Wehener blew her sub-8 hour goal out of the water with a 7:21 finish. And Emily Collins cruised effortlessly to win the women's division and place 3rd overall.
Low key events help you determine fitness without stress. Next up is the Crowell Hilaka Trail Run in Richfield, Ohio: entry fee = $0. Can't beat that for a relaxed race.
